This Thanksgiving, Christway Inc. embraced the true spirit of the holiday: gratitude, generosity, and community. With the help of our incredible donors and volunteers, we delivered 100 home-cooked meals, bottled water, hygiene kits, Bibles, and handwritten letters to Skid Row, one of Los Angeles' most underserved areas.

A Mission of Hope and Kindness

Our Thanksgiving Outreach began with a simple but powerful goal: to share hope and kindness with people facing the challenges of homelessness. Thanks to the unwavering support of our Christway community, we were able to create care packages that offered not just essentials but also encouragement and love.

- Meals: Volunteers prepared hearty Thanksgiving meals filled with traditional favorites to nourish both body and spirit.

- Hygiene Kits: Care packages included practical items like toothpaste, soap, and socks to meet everyday needs.

- Bibles & Handwritten Letters: Each package contained a Bible and a heartfelt letter, reminding recipients that they are loved and never forgotten.

Thanksgiving Day on Skid Row

On Thanksgiving Day, our team brought these gifts directly to the heart of Skid Row, where thousands face the daily struggles of homelessness. As we handed out meals and packages, we took the time to connect, listen, and share kind words with those we met.

The handwritten letters had a profound impact, sparking smiles, tears, and meaningful conversations. One recipient shared, “This letter reminded me that someone cares about me. It’s been a long time since I felt that.” Moments like these reflect the power of small, intentional acts of kindness.
